Help Needed; Sticking throttle/Fast idle

Just finished installing a Holley 2300 350cfm on my 200 and for some reason the butterflys won't return completly when running.
It's not the choke or linkage binding,it works fine with the motor off. If you snap the throttle it will sometimes return. I can turn the car off and see the throttle linkage on the carb return to normal. I added heavier springs too that helped a little.
It almost seems like the motor vacuum is keeping it open

Any ideas?????

i had it oce with my stock carb sorta...dont know if it'll help u at all...but i like telling stories..

i had gon down to the river with one of my freinds after we did a bit of racing...and down at the river we did some doughnuts n stuff...and all of a sudded i could drive WOT without needing the gas pedal...well i held the brakes while a freind got out and flicked the throttle and returned it to normal...i thought it would just be a one time thing...but nooooo...i did it again...and again..(u know whats really weird...i had a short dream the night before about my car doing that :?...sorta) but anywasy i drove home...rid the brakes where necessary...but when i got home i checked out my carb and the linkage from the choke to the throttle was out and was getting stuck and jamming the throttle when it was open...well i fixed er right up in a jiffy and went to bed at ease.. :D

Is there anyway to remove this post before too many people read it????

Ends ups the carb linkage was rubbing just a hair on the adapter plate. Enough that when running it would bind.

FYI... The Holley 350 is a big improvement over the H/W 5200, and it isn't even dailed in yet!!!!

dont remove it...thatis how people learn. I have made (and documented) quite a few big mistakes...

best one was I thought I needed a clutch when it was the accelrator pump oon the carb sticking
