Alright i moved my generator, took out my starter, and i still cant seem to get the angle to get the header onto the studs, i think it seems to be the collector from the first three cylinders is hitting the thing that sticks out farthest from the strut fender thing(hope u know what i mean)

ANY ideas in which to help me would be hugely appreciated, really dont want to have to go back to manifold after all the work ive done

Thanks, Lee

If all else fails, disconnect the rubber motor mount on the right side and tilt the engine to the left.
Don't unbolt the mount from the block, hard to get realigned.

Sweet thanks, can i lift with floor jack, maybe a good size piece of wood on the jack to even out the weight a little or what do u suggest, wish i had a engine crane.

You can use a floor jack, and definitely use a piece of wood to distribute the weight. You may want to loosen the nuts on the other motor mount, and transmission mount, so those aren't fighting against you. You may not have to rotate it very much to get the alignment for the header bolts.

Just be careful.

Huge thanks to u man, tilted it bout 1-2" and she went on real nice, in the middle of putting the starter back on,which is something i loathe but gotta be done. thanks again, Lee

If anyone would be able to inform me on how much to torque the header nuts to i would appreciate it, i have the sequence diagram from CI, i wanna get this right to reduce chance of leaking.

Thanks
