Hey.
I have a '66 200ci I6, and I'm lookin to buy headers for it. But I'm not sure If i have a "High mount" or a "Low mount" starter... Do you guys have a picture or something I can compare my engine to?

Hey i got headers form clifford for my 200 for free. but when it came time to put them in, they wouldnt fit but i couldnt complain because i got the headers free :D .......... The problem was it was running into the starter. I have a 64 comet so it should be similar to your 66 stang. But now i have to custom make the last tube it shouldnt be too hard, i hope........ but check out these picks........ Most 200 have a high starter so you proably do. headers will clear the starter if the last tube comes way out and then comes down. The last link is a picture of my headers, those will not clear the starter but the other two links show headers that should clear.

Only 200's made after 1980 had low mount starters. Mike at fordsixparts.com is coming out with a header that will fit all applications. I went through 5 and never found one to fit. We finally took a set of pacemakers, heated and bent to fit. I do have the low mount in my 63.
