I pulled this mystery carb out of my carb cleaner, & now see its a Holley. Stamped (not cast) in the center body on the fuel bowl is 4701-1, under that 1238.
The carb has two floats on a single shaft, with floats on either side of carb bore. There are annular rings in the bore.
Its off a 63 Ranchero, been on there a while, but a carb kit for that year Ranchero shows a single float & the gaskets are completely different.
What is this, & what do I ask for in a carb kit?? Mutt
