As some here know that I am going with a heavier truck with a V8 for certain reasons.
My 1989 truck is going to be sold. And a 1991 F250 is in the works.
Some here know that my Holley 390 carburetor has been meticulously tuned for a stock internal 300 with Offenhauser C intake and EFI exhaust. It did receive an upgraded secondary metering plate that allows simple jet changes. Holley engineering helped pull up archive drawings on idle air restrictor jets and the adjustable metering plate received the proper jetting for a 300 six. The carburetor tuning has been able to be worked to the point that it’s one of the best tuned 390 carburetors for the stock 300 engine. Chances are it would be a very good candidate for plug and play. Or very little adjustments necessary.
Just to let everyone know that this carburetor has not been permanently modified, altered or butchered in any way.
All fasteners were always torqued with certified torque drivers in inch-pounds (with +/- 5% allowance off actual set torque drivers readings) to Holley’s torque specifications.
Since I will need to go up to a 650cfm carburetor, I’m looking to give a member here an opportunity to buy it. The Holley 390 carburetor now lists for $870.95 (without tax and shipping), I would be willing to let this one go for $550.00 (plus shipping). The carburetor will be shipped with all original parts as the carburetor came, and it will be shipped in all original boxing, packaging and paperwork. I kept everything.
