holley 8 HA?

i cant find a 3rd holley 1904 from a ww2 jeep so i bought 3 of these holley 8 ha's to experiment with on my tripower, ill post pics, im going to try em without progressive linkage so they will all be on all the time

i just bought what should be the last bit of parts to get all 3 going but i still have to have the carb mounts milled down so the carbs sit at the same level, my goal is to have all 3 open and close at the same time to even out the a/f mix through all 6 cyls

these carbs are very tall compared to the old 1101 i was running, it just clears the hood without a filter on it, so i will have to cut a hole in the hood and put a cowl induction, i was going to do that anyway but now i have to if i want to fit the filters, on another note i noticed that the car climbs hills without much effort now

well, i was running one of the carbs for a while then it started stalling, i switched it with another and it started leaking a little and had no adjustment on the idle mix screw, the third would stall every time i would come to a stop, then after i let it sit over night i found out it had a bad float because it was gushing fuel everywhere when i tried to start it, so i put the 2nd one back on since it is the only one that will run :bang: , i sent him a message on ebay to get a refund :bang: ,if i get the money back, ill get some webers

im going to fix these carbs and sell them, i found that one had a bad float, im going to buy some weber 34 ict's, ill need some help with jetting
