I was just wondering, as I'm sure many have, how much horsepower/torque I would be making with my setup... I was looking at my cardomain site and saw I had put down 70, and I believe I have come a bit above that... my specs are below in my NEW signiture, well not really new just new pictures... I also am going to buy a cam... I filled out a chart for mike, but my comp froze and it was never sent and I really havent been in the mood to fill it all out again... so if this is you Mike I havent forgot.... so just a guestimate on that would be great... Thanks, Tommy

Id say a good 90 Rear Wheel Horsepower. Mabey even a 100. I would love to know what your car turns in the 1/4.

LAter,

Curtis

I would too... It takes off alot quicker! Ill have to do a 0-60 time to see what I can do. My previous record stock was 13-14 seconds.

If you can, get to a 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile track and get some times.

Then do an accurate weigh, with you in it.

You can calculate HP pretty accurately with 1/4 mile MPH and vehicle weight.

Not gonna happen anytime soon... Tomorrow my cars going to the bodyshop and gonna det the quarter panel straightened out. after that its goign to be sanded sown and primered again.... I bought more paint, thinner, hardner, and reducer. I will take it to another place to be repainted the new darker blue... latele when something happened I was disappointed, well now that the car is actuallyy going to look nice I might have to get angry..... I mean so far its averages out to about an accident every other month... first was my fault (the sign ordeal) and now the latest with the kid that backed into my quarter panel... but there is a local track (1/8th mile) I could goto. I would have to see when they had something I could make a few passes. Now about the weighing, my scale only goes to 300lbs I would have to gradually have to disassemble the car and weight it piece by piece... How could I go about weighing it? Thanks, Tommy

Go to your local dump. They usually weigh your car before you go in full of crap and then weigh you after you leave. Your car roughly ways 2600 pounds. Plus a 100 horespower. I think you could be in the 16's in the 1/4. Hope everything goes well with your car.

later,

Curtis

Other places you can weigh at are a grain elevator or the scrap metal place, also highway weigh stations will let you weigh. I think all of those are accurate to the closest 20 pounds.

I go to the local scrap metal yard, it is closest for me and there is no charge.

i have a 66 mustang and i weighed it with me in it and a full tank of gas 2753 lbs.
