im an aussie and have an xf falcon with a fully worked aussie 250 crossflow, these are common stock here but i came across this site and im guessing u are all yankees, lol any ways im interested to see what u guys are doing to these 250 crossflow engines, also ill post up a piccy of my rig, seems u guys are mostly mustangs here a xf falcon maybe something different

xflibby45.jpg
runs a 230 dur lift crow cam, el falcons 4.0 ltr crank shaft, 200 crossflow rods. deck block and fully ballenced bottom end o ringed head, ported pollished and shaved 40thou and 5mm over sized valves double valve springs and thicker push rods, the compression is about 10.5-1, forged piston and runs 150hp nitrous, transmission is a c4 with 2500 stall, diff gears are 3.23 for the street i run a 2.5inch pipes straight through, also set of headers. its a new engine and running engine in with a 465 holley carb but are using a efi setup that is running 3 xf throttle bodies, one per 2 ports, controlled by a wolf 3d ecu
what are u guys doing to these engine and what sort of hp u getting out of them?

That is one sweet ride.
What we do over here is drool over Aussie engines and complain about how Ford USA dropped the ball on these motors.
Post some pics over in Eye Candy.
I think you'll find a few of your countrymen on this forum, but we put up with 'em!! :P

how many HP you got at the wheels? what fuel are you running?

is that 10.5 static or dynamic comp?

oh ok there are a few aussies her lol, interested to read this site and what the yanks are doing to our engines, coz these are a comon here in ausie world.

also to answer questions, unsure of figures yet coz i fire this engine up for the first time this weekend, and wont say what i expect nothing owrse than over or under rating an engine, im gonna dyno after engine run in and get figure with the carb setup and then once the efi setup is on ill get second figure to compare, its very hard to say what it will do. its got a few of the speedshop who have worked on it interested, as for fuel i will have to add octane booster to run pump fuel and be very selective on which sevo to fill from, thats the thing im concerned with is finding good clean fuels coz i dont want pinging

i put it together, but widowmaker sorted the rest they are on the coast they did all the machine work and i got parts from them they sorted out the specs, im doing the efi setup but they will have to do al lthe tech stuff with the wolf ecu and dyno her. they are very good down there. this engine is my daily driver but for this car im starting a second engine for race days, will do engine swaps for the tracks i think wil lstay with the old crossflows. but this next one will not be streetable. will use the the efi setup for the next engine but with differnet injector rails. one race engine and this one as a daily driver it is good enough for the street. but yer widow maker will build the next one it will be something crazy and they have a few ideas on a good setup. its worth talking to them if u around that area

just finished my second refresh/upgrade. just seeing who does the work around brisbane to crossflows. ran 12.80 in a corti but have alot more to go goal is around 12.2-11.9 so time will tell.
