I've just been looking at the jets in a 5200. Some odd numbers have come up and hope someone can shed some light on this.
Main jet - 147
Secondary - 219
Primary air corrector - 170
Secondary corrector - 185
I can't check anything else as the ports are plugged.
The air corrector jetting seems typical, but what's going on with the numbers on the main jets?
I have read that typically they are the same, or the primary is usually larger.
I would like to jet this carb for my new engine, which has a fully modded log head and hipo cam.
My concern is being to little airflow at low rpms when running just on the primary. Has anyone had idle problems, or off-idle tip-in issues?
