I NEED AN AIRFILTER for my 250 2v !!! anyone have one?

Hey guys,

i havent driven my 250 2v xy for over a month and its starting to get to my head, i cant pass rego until i get an airfilter to fit my WW stromberg 2 barrell.

The problem is i cant get an original one because there never on ebay and no chrome ones or anything will fit it, not even crappy ones from the wreckers because they foul on the underside of the bonnet or hit the shock tower.

Does anyone have an airfilter that will help me as i need one ASAP, if you do please PM me or email me at tom351xy@hotmail.com or reply to this thread.

I know how your feeling. I had the same sort of problem but i was lucky to get an original 2v air box on ebay for cheap without having to wait too long. There was one on ebay that just ended today, start price was $150 and ended with no bids. I think he was asking way too much. Maybe you can contact him and do a bit of haggling? Where abouts do u live? The last time i got 1 was from Robbos spares. I was lucky that he had 1 sitting out the back but they said they can still order them in. They are a ryco A224. Hope this helps

thanks guys, but i managed to find a 2v one for $50, but i also tried a air cleaner off a 302 W in a fairlane and it actually fits?
so now im going to clean up the 2v one and paint it orange again.

and yeah i was talking about the whole assmbly.

No XR I keep a look out. One went on ebay over the weekend for $150.

I want one as a spare so I'm not desperate.
