Identifying a 200 HEad how do you tell it fro a 170 0r 144

anyone know how to tell a 170 0r 144 hhead from a 200 i need a replacement 200 and i need to know differences so they dont try to sell me a 170 0r 144 perhps valve sizes casting numbers???

Howdy Pepsi and All:

All castings from D3XX and later were used on 200 & 250 engines and are identical given the same casting # and suffix.

Later 200/250 heads have a 1.75" intake valve face.

The only casting # seen on an original 144 (as far as is possible to tell on a 45 year old engine) is C0DE-A.

The last casting casting used on the 170 was a D0XX.
