Ignition Help!

I am trying to replace the ignition housing on a 66 Mustang. It separated behind the firewall. I have removed the ignition assembly and am trying to figure out how this unit goes back together. Does anyone have a pictorial or breakout of the ignition assembly? The replacement I bout has contacts, where the original has the wiring coming out of the housing. If anyone has wiring identification (4 wires) that would help also. Thank you.

I'm confused with your problem description. Are you talking about the key switch in the dash, or some part of the wiring harness (i.e. a connection) near the firewall?
