...I'm picking up "Bad Vibrations"...

Well, I've been feeling some vibrations coming from my engine/tranny and some random chatter in the last couple of weeks. :(

I managed to get rid of the chatter by changing the old 3 finger to the RAM diaphram clutch, but the vibes remain.

When idling, not in gear, I get a strange intermittent vibration. Also at certain RPM's, while driving, particularly at around 2000-3000 RPM's it vibrates.

At first I thought it was an unbalanced driveshaft, but, not in gear this doesn't work. Though while driving I still think I may need to have it balanced because of the vibes at certain RPM's.

As for the vibes at idle, I am thinking I may have tweaked the crank :( when doing the T5 swap 3 months ago, and now it has come to fruition.

Any ideas guys?
I would really appreciate it.

Have you looked at the flywheel. If it it is bent, not mounted evenly (even just a hair off could do it). You said this is a stick, so it wouldn't be the torque converter. I am thinking along the lines of any parts that are rotating while not in gear, from the front of the motor going into the trany (input shaft).
If it were me, I would start at the front and work my way back. I couldn't imagine it being the crank.
