Inherited a 57 CJ5 with a mystery motor.

Hi all, I've spent quite a few hours on numerous sites trying to ID this motor myself but no luck yet, thought I'd try here first. Inherited an unloved 57 cj5 and am wanting to dig into it, but can't figure out what motor this is. Intake/exhaust on right side, two bolt valve cover, 3 bolt water pump, casting /serial numbers all on left side, S285408 ending with a shamrock? symbol on the left side just below the head to the front, 155102 lower mid block and behind the coil a plate with 1 29 6. I'm not even sure its a Ford at this point, Thank you

I ended up identifying the motor. The cloverleaf/shamrock stamp got me there. Turns out it is a studebaker 170 from 1963? as far as I can tell. Anyways, thanks for the resource you all provide on this forum.

Wow, that's odd. Glad you found out what it is. some of the description had me thinking possibly an International6. (Too bad it's not.) Are you going to attempt to do anything with that engine, or swap to one with more parts availability?
