...Come on up and I'll show you how it works. I just thought this was a clever gadget, but then I like low-tech stuff.

I do too. Except I don't care much for the "straight pipes" on the old systems...

As for the invite, I just may take you up on that some time. I've had on my list of things to do a trip to the northern part of the state. Seems to me to be a lot like Tennessee... (I mean that in a good way. )

Reckon I may as well concede on the marksmanship. The freewheeling days of my youth when I could shoot as much as I liked have been gone for a long time now, my guns have become more of a tool than a toy. Maybe some day :D

Reminds of something I learned many years ago when I took up playing guitar...

I was minoring in music at the time, so there were always guys around who could play. And the ones who were the skilful were the ones who answered the question "How well do you play?" with some kind of self-deprecating remark to the effect that they really didn't play well at all...

I don't believe in gambling, but I am prepared to invest money on the probability of Joe winning a properly setup situation.

Yet at the same time, who'd be the quicker and strighter shot when an off-chance presented itself? That's where I'd suggest SM...

I really haven't done a lot of shooting since my Dad passed away back in 88, but we used to have a lot of fun in those days. Funny thing is, I could always outshoot him on targets, not by much, but always by a little. However, he was one of the best game shots I ever knew. We could jump a deer and he always was the first to shoot, and rarely, if ever did he miss. He grew up during the Depression when hunting vital to survival, and he also served in WW2 as a combat infantryman. Trouble is, I always tend to hesitate to make sure of my shot, and he ABSOLUTELY NEVER did.

I'll shoot against a guitar player any day but I would definitely hedge my bet on playing against a shooter.
