Interesting find. Forged pistons?

I just happened across these pistons. They are forged pistons designed for the Ford 2300cc. They have valve reliefs in the wrong location for our engines, but maybe we could have some produced with no reliefs (flattop.) These look like some very nice pistons! What do you guys think?

They are 2.3 pistons but not for the Tempo engine.....sorry They're made for the OHC like the ones in Fox bodied Stangs....

What's the difference, it's the same block isn't it?

Dizzy cap might be the only thing that could interchange between the two.
I am thinking of other things , spark plugs, oil filter, oil cap
These two are very different.

the lima 2.3L has a 3.86? bore on it....much larger than a falcon six or 2.3L hsc motor. even for the 2.3L guys you pretty much pay $100 a slug since no one really stocks them. gonna end up paying the same rate for falcon pistons that will just have to be custom made.

This is what I plan on for my turbo 250 whenI start it in a couple years. goign to longer rods too.
