Thought I would finally introduce myself and attempt to post a few pics. Bear with me if this turns out to be a total wash :) Anyways , I have had this car for about 6 months now and it's almost done( is that a real word?) I have been building hot rods and race cars for about half of my unnatural life, 17 years or so, and this is the latest car I built. Suppossed to be my new shop truck/driver...

You must right click on the picture you want to post. Then select Properties. Copy the url of the picture and paste it between
.

Yeah, after created an account, uploaded everything, then I realize that I can no longer use HPP. Now it's in photobucket, so I'll see what I can do. BTW, how do you shrink the images to a decent size? They're huge right now.

Looks good man! I'm a sucker for Rancheros... BTW, I used paintshop pro to resize them.

i love that you pulled a V8 and swapped in an inline, you might be the craziest one here

try looking in the lounge for any of my posts with the word pics in them, the one about the WWII memorial would be a good one

basically, with photobucket you just add th_ in front of the picture name and it'll show a small version
so, if it was named "ranchero.jpg" you'd make it "th_ranchero.jpg" and get a small version

if you look at that WWII post, you should also be able to figure out how to make the pics so that they link to a bigger version of them

I agree...ballzy

Nice Ranchero! I got a '69, I really wanted a 64-65... but I came across this '69 for a good price...

I'm pulling the 351W in my '69 Chero for a 250, I know there's a few people that think I'm crazy/stupid for that... But the 351 is goin in my '68 Stang to replace the 302... And hell, I don't need 3 V8 vehicles, I gotta have something that gets fairly decent gas mileage!

Thanks for all the help and kind words. Let me clear up a few things first; I didn't swap in the the inline, someone before me did an entire driveline swap, 2.77 and 7.25 rear end. My guess is they blew the V-8 and it was cheaper to swap parts from a donor vehicle than rebuild, but that's just my guess from the quality engineering they did on other parts. Ever seen a mexican soup can tranny tunnel? I knew it was mexican soup because it was written in Spanish, I'm smart that way  . Maybe it was spanish soup now that I think about it...Anyways, I had a spare 302 from my '68 mustang (351W going in) with headers, MSD, Edelbrock air gap & carb, etc that was going to go into the ranchero. Now I still have a spare 302 holding down the corner of my garage AND a hot rod six in the making :D, so maybe I'm not ballsy, but the kind of guy that likes to mow the lawn with hair clippers instead of a riding mower.

I saved the soup can, and all the other prior repairs that I had to cut out to fix, just to remind me how not to do things  If I ever figure out this image size thing I'll post a pic I have of all the extra metal I had by the time I was done with the bodywork. I tried the th_ thing, but now you need to almost kiss the screen to see it (hey, I like my computer, but...)

yeah, it is small, but it can work nicely if you know how to play with the 'puter

here, look at this

[img ][/img]

put the URL for the big picture after the "=" sign, and remove the space
put the URL for the small picture between the [img ][/img] tags, and remove the space

you'll end up with this

(click it and you'll get the big version)

that help?

Hey Zac,

Sweet ride, nice wheels, I love that stance. You wouldn't happen to live in Tehachapi would ya?
