Hi all, I've got a replacement Holley 1940 (no spark control valve), List 7104 (apparently, AMC application). I was told that some of the 1940's had a one-time only punch-in pin to make it a low vacuum or keep it a high vacuum carb. Not sure what this one is, so I took some ported vacuum readings vs rpm, all in park:
580rpm 1" hg
900rpm 8" hg
1000rpm 10" hg
1300rpm 12" hg
1700rpm 14" hg
2000rpm 14" hg
2800+ rpm 15" hg.
I currently have a Load-O points dizzy. I'm hoping that this is a high vacuum carb so I can go directly to a Duraspark.
