Jetting on Weber 1 barrels?

Hey i have a 200 cid with 1 weber 34ICH and 2 34ICT ones and they are being a little difficult tuning. anybody have experience with webers? if so did you need to get bigger jets for either the idle jets or main jets or both? driving when you mash the gas, the transition phase just doesnt happen (momentarily stalls when you mash it)

any ideas?

I run 2 ICT's and a 2100 in the center. My experience with them has been favorable although they have a couple quirks. I have been able to run them 'out of the box' as far as jetting goes. Couple things though--Are they on progressive linkage? If not you might try disconnecting the accel pumps to reduce the initial rich bog but still try to find a progressive set-up for them. . The ICT's seem to be very touchy about air flow -the freeer the aircleaner flow the better. I don't know what you are running for a dizzy so that could play a huge role in performance also. I have not been able to find much info on them about tuning (such as jet or float level info). I have a progressive linkage and i use the accel pump on my center carb (2100 autolite) but disconnected the pumps on the outboard carbs. They are a little touchy getting a proper adjustment where they are all balancing together although the log set-up is a bit forgiveing. But it seems crucial to get them all to idle down far enough so that they are on the idle circuit.

I've been searching for a post of someone running Webers on their triple manifold...Because if these Holleys wash out once I get this on the road, I may switch to webers.

I am always looking for help with my understanding of carburetion in general and 3X1 setups. The Webers are great...

I'm running a setup with Holley's on a 250 with Offy 3X1. I see the nice fuel distribution block you're using is above the Headers. Heat buildup off the Headers on mine is a concern. Those are non- SCV 1904's I think?. Did you try each carb first to verify it's drivability?.. You use progressive lkge, do you use the squirters in the outboards and is the center carb bigger?.

I got frustrated with the Holleys but have found a few good ones and not so...
