And stopped everything to unwrap it!
After a year and a half of looking, I now own a new old stock Lynx model #190 intake manifold to mount three Webers or Dellortto's on my Aussie 2V head! Total cost, including econo air shipping, Western Union fees, and the intake, about $220.00 U.S.
Oh, yeah, that doesn't include several calls to Oz, dozens of email queries to every Ford oriented spare parts shop that I could track down, and hours searching through Aussie web sites for info.
Before this, the nearest I got to tracking one down was a call to a spares shop in Sidney last fall, the guy says "Yeah, mate, I know what you're looking for; we just sold one to a bloke in Canada about a month and a half ago..." So, no worries, just keep looking; they're out there.
BTW, Lynx does still have a few of the intakes to go on the shaved log head, for the more adventurous machinists.
