Load-o-matic Dizzy and Drive Gear??

Is there a hardened drive gear for it? I know Mike was looking into whether the DG14 from Performance was the hardened type---I am not sure if it will fit the load-o-matic though? Then I have seen the Sorenson DG305 listed and Crow makes two with apparently different shaft diameters the DG2 & the DG2A...I plan on getting a new one for the Load-o-matic, but ain't sure which one...then of course I will have to get one for the duraspark II and maybe that is a different one...This gets confusing for a feeble minded old guy. Anybody got the definitive to which one fits what and won't eat up my new clay smith cam or crack and leave pieces of metal in my fine new oil pan?

The designations will vary depending on which diameter of distributor shaft you have. Not on the actual type of dizzy. So, theoretically the hardened gear could be hopped from one dizzy to the next.

Hey, addo----I have checked at a couple of places here they look at you like your from another world when you ask for parts that were produced in the '60s. I told the one guy that I had a Clay Smith cam and his response was get the dizzy drive gear from them. Do they sell those for a '60's dizzy? All those funny looks I get makes me feel old---I think I am developing an age complex here! There is one NAPA store here I haven't tried I will visit them this afternoon. I would almost bet they have one in stock.
