Am I correct in saying the log is technically limited to a 2 barrel carburetor, without extreme modifications, because of it's design, right?

I thought about posting this question in the Hardcore Forum but I feel this does not justify such a classification. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, thats right. However, if you use the Schendahls method of direct mounting 2-bbls to logs, you could make a Capri V6-style adaptor which funnels the 4-bbl carb into two barrels.

See this 32/36 carb adaptor which allows the Weber carb to mount to the stock 2-bbl Solex manifold.

If you use your imagaination, you could build a four-barrel version of the 2.6/2.8 adaptor used on American market Cologne V6's.

Just don't try 4-bbls down one 1-bbl, okay? Has to be a 2-bbl style conversion.

Hope this helps!

Thanks X!

I had a machine shop fabricate a 2 to 4 adapter awhile back. Maybe if I can get my car running right, then I'll tackle this modification.
