Looking for AC pictures

Ron, I looked all through my pics and couldn't find one single motor with a stock A/C. I find that hard to believe since I have nearly 300 pics. Sorry, but I tried.

I had another guy e-mail, asking if I happened to have a pic of the heat shroud and riser that supplies hot air from the exhaust manifold, to the air cleaner. He has a 68 High Country coupe he is trying to restore, and this is the one part he can't find to complete the inline six. Anybody happen to have one (pics or parts)?

Thanks, but its not what he is looking for. On the High Country stangs, they had a metal shroud around the exhaust manifold with a tube going up to the underside of the air cleaner snorkle. Like some of the V8's had (see pic). Only 251 H.C.S. Mustangs were produced, not sure how many of those had sixes, which is why it is so difficult to find.

:D Ummm...was replying to the OP with the A/C question. Don't think those changed much. Mine's a little off...but mostly correct. I turned the hoses so they were square. Think I'll change it back because of the way the front hose is stretched.

OK these are not pretty but they are correct to the best of my knowledge. Except for the condenser which is out of a Ford truck. The guy that did this car awhile back said he used a truck condenser because of the R134a conversion.

That's half of it, much better than nothing. Hopefully it will be what he is looking for. Thanks Bill, awesome job.

Looks like Ted got what he wanted too.

Thanks for searching fellas!

Stubby, those pictures are great! What I am looking for is what bracketry and hardware I need to mount the condensor/accumulator. Everything in the car is still intact but all the underhood stuff, firewall forward, was removed for a V8 swap. I wonder how hard its going to be to find those brackets for the condensor/accumulator? I'll be doing a Sanden swap so I dont think I have to worry about the compressor support bracket. The main one is still in the car.

Like I said the condenser is out of a truck. It looks factory but the guy told me he put a larger one in for the extra heat generated by the 134a.
