looking for an intake for a 4bl carb

i am looking for an intake on an 4bl carb.. anyone have one and has pics pleaze reply..

If you have a 240 or a 300, six than you will be able to locate one. If you are looking for one for a 170-250, then the intakes are not separate on the US heads and you will not be able to find one. You can "adapt" a 4bbl to your intake with some fabrication. You may be able to directly mount a 4bbl to the head doing away with the adaptor.

i have a 4bl on my aussie head, it is not on the car yet but i sure hope it will be soon. Track is getting in the way b/c we(my 4x400m) team has made it to state. any ways if you want some pictures just e mail me or catch me on aim. I haven't figured out how to get my pictures to show up on here. I have plent of host.(cox.net,geocities.com,bravepages.net, ect....) but i cant figure out how to make them work!

That doesnt quite make sense to me. Mustangaroo was running a Holley 5200 and got a slight increase in power on the dyno by going to a 350cfm Holley 2bbl. Most of the guys that I know of are running the Holley 390cfm 4 bbl.

I however will be running a Holley/Motorcraft 450cfm 4bbl.

Sorry but I changed from to Holley 5200 to the Holley 500, never had a Holley 350. But you are right I did get a slight increase in HP on the dyno! My understanding is that the Holley 500 flows at 358 cfm and the 350 around 258 cfm.......

From what I've heard, the "stumpier" profile (in lengthwise section) of a Holley venturi is the reason it's more sensitive to application. Hence the "rule of thumb" carb choices.

i was gunna say dont tell me if i went over a 300cfm id lose hp id have to shoot ya i got a holley 2300 500cfm i got to put on my argi me head set up id die if i have to get a different carb lol
