LOST SPECS

I have misplaced my specs and need some help. I have a 200 with 1bbl and all stock. I do have a Pertronix but no header. I am using stock Champion RF11YC plugs. I need to know the gap for the plugs with the pertronix..I know we opened them up..but I cant remember how far. Also the timing. I am so pissed about losing my spec page from my note book. Please help me! Any recommends for better plugs for the stock engine?

My '80 with Duraspark II electronic ignition runs .042" gap.

.035 is stock. You can try .040 but I would not go over .045 without a MSD. I like NGK plugs myself.

My petronix always like .36-.38 gap and 12 degrees initial.

I opened up to .50 with the MSD and DII....

but I would not go over .40

Thanks guys....I have stored these specs in the PC for future retrieval. I will begin with a .040 for the Champions..but I intend to use Autolite AP46 with the same gap. I have been setting my timing by sound and rpms. (Based on previous posts) But now I want to do it more by the book. My last set of plugs only lasted 8000 miles. I have access to my timing markers...but just where is the timing mark on the pulley/balancer. Hey Jimbo....thats 12deg BTDC...right? Normally its 6 BTDC?
