low mount starter in a 65 comet

Howdy,
I know this has been done a thousand times but I can't seem to find much info on it.I have a 65 comet with the small bell c-4 and I would like to swap to a late model big bell engine.But, just by eyeballing an old 250 laying in my garage, it sure looks like a low mount starter would interfere with the steering.Any input on this?

Member "Powerband" has been through this recently with a roundbody and 250. I can't recall exactly how he solved it.

Also, there is another guy here who would probably take your small C4 bell. Send "saltwaterfalcon1960" a PM if you are thinking of selling it.
