machine rocker arms to be adjustable?

Looking at 2 sets of non-adjustable rocker arms sitting in my garage with not much of a future... Has anybody drilled a hole in the pushrod end and threaded in a screw to make them adjustable? Probably good reasons not to, but it looks like there's enough material there that it could work assuming somebody could drill a set so that every one was exactly the same.

Just some mental ramblings I thought I'd share to see if I've come up with something...

I can't remember off hand as I don't have my set sitting in front of me anymore, but doing they have oiling ports as well for the adjustable? That seems to ring a bell in my head for some reason.

I'm not sure what oiling ports you're referring to.
