Hi
I have a 66 mustang with a 200 six, I bought it with a B/W single rail 4 spd in it, but its perfomance and less than original look let it down. I want to a whack a C4 into it and just want some idea what other changes it would need besides things like Flex plate and diff ratios??
Thanks

I'm about to put a Borg-Warner 503 (single rail 4 speed) into an '89 XF van, in place of a BW Model 40.

You'll need a slide hammer to remove the pilot bearing from the crank, you'll need an auto trans pedal box, and you'll need the C4 cable for the speedo. C4 linkages and prindal mechanism should be easy as to scrounge, too

Has the speedo been converted to electronic or has it remained the cable type? Either way it'll be easy to do, if its electronic, you'll need an XD C4 sender gear (available as 2.55:1, 2.77:1, 2.92:1 and 3.23:1 rear end ratios), if its cable, just get the normal Mustang sender gear :)
