Master Cylinder

Hey, is the master cylinder from an XD the same as an XE , is it just a straight swap or there a difference

It's against my religon to drive a manual car, but I'd say theres no difference at all.

Hang on, my wifes got a 5-speed Toyota Corolla, but that doesn't count...its a shopping trolley with a 1.6 liter container in it.

Have you noticed how easy it can be to change gears without a clutch?

As long as the constraints are the same (ie, 4Wdisc or disc/drum), and it looks similar, should go. Only possible problem I can imagine is metric phlare nut threads on one and imperial the other.

Ok thanks, its just when I was walking around the wreckers (my shopping day at myers lol) I came across the XD that has a fairly new master cylinder in it, mines leaking they quoted $15 if I could get it off, cause it was not long fitted so no problem with it, looks the same so I see how I go with fitting up this week
