I have a mate who has an early Falcon and a newly rebuilt pre 70s seven main 200 (short rod version I think and has a different bell housing) in his shed awaiting transplant to his vehicle. He wants to use mechanical gears (doesnt want any free-play in the timing).
He has a price of $400 plus for these gears to suit a crossflow but is reluctant to purchase them without first knowing if they will fit his application. Crow cams say something about careful dialling in of some of these earlier pre 70s cams. Is the crossflow timing interchangeable or are others available?
