Mike, Stainless Steel Valve Question??

I was just looking over your updated website!

One thing that caught my eye was these,

http://www.fordsixparts.com/Valves.htm

Are these replacements for the stock valves?? Could I use my Clifford springs, locks & keepers with these on my 1980 head?? Or do they have to be machined to fit??

I would assume that my machinist could open up the stock exhausts to fit the new 1.5" exhaust valves like he did when I installed 1.75" intake valves on my old 66 head.

After I get my other parts I ordered from ya, I might have to order some of the valves from ya before spring

Later,

Doug

Doug,

The valves are oversized (175/150) so they will require new seats. But the stems are stock US sizes, so all your existing parts (springs, retainers, locks, etc) will work with them.

I will have new cam kits available in about a month. Which will include the correct spring rates (various), retainers, locks, and so on. All in light weight pieces.

Cool!

Glad to hear that they will be compatible with my Cliffy parts.

I'll have to talk to my machinist and see what he will charge to install new exhaust seats

Thanks,

Doug
