the tips dont affect the sound to much. i had just a regular pipe coming out then i switched to back cut tips and noticed it tends to shut down quicker off a little rev.

Matt, do you have a sound bite of your exhaust?

Also, do headers make he exhaust sound different than a stock manifold? I've always assumed it does make a difference.

Ok, i'll say more than that!

DAMN!! Holy crap! Dudes, next time I ask what mufflers I should put on a car, first slap me in the face, then remind me that the only mufflers worth using are FLOWMASTERS!! Obviously, opinion, but DANG MAN!

You will not believe the sound. My father in law, a long time (that means old) muscle car guy dropped his jaw when he heard it! He said, and I quote, "Holy sh!t man it sounds like you have monster V8 under the hood!!" and then just kept shaking his head in disbelief. He kept asking me to rev it up and then giggled like a school girl.

If I had to sum up what it sounds like that you can relate to, it's simple. the original 5.0 Mustang GT, back when the REALLY sounded good.

You can count on a sound clip ASAP (tonight hopefully).

the setup:
Pacemaker Dual Out Headers
added bolted flanges to the ends for easy header removal
2" alum. pipe with an H pipe...back to..
FLOWMASTER 40 SERIES DELTA FLOW with 2" in/out on centers
out to 2" pipe back to angle cut chrome tips.

Did I say

Bryce, i assume you like the sound. Lets see some pictures & a verbal description. Thanks William

Flowmaster Super 40 series Delta Flow always. This will add balls to your car. Trust me. BALLS!!!!!!!!!
