Mustang 1980 6L 200ci Cylinder head question

So what difference does this wet and dry test do?
So first of all i need to get the engine at operating temperature. so with all the sparkplugs installed? Than, turn off engine and remove all of the plugs or just one at a time? And where should i put this spoon of oil in?

Greetings

the wet/dry test informs you of the condition of the piston rings without tearing apart the entire motor,

IIRC* with oil in the piston champer (down the spark plug hole) the compression will go up, if it doesn't the ring(s) in the cyl are bad.

when you do the compression test make sure to unplug the coil, don't want the engine to start up under ya...

one at a time is just fine

the spoon of oil goes in the spark plug hole after the dry test.
