Well, it's confirmed. My 65 200 has a 170 head.
I measured chamber volume at 48 cc's, and intake volume at less than 900 cc's. It's also got the kidney bean shaped chamber as David pointed out earlier. Before I realized this, I had already sprung for an Autolite 2100 and FSPP oversize valves (not installed yet), and was planning on having it ported/unshrouded, a port divider installed, and milled to compensate for the Felpro gasket thickness.
Will the oversize valves even fit in this head? If so, will the intake be able to take advantage of the 2100 and the oversize valves, or should I start looking for a different head?
Thanks in advance
Mark
