need an ident asap

i found a motor the guy is saying is a 223 the number on the block is ciae-6015-k, from wht i heard this is a number for a 262 possibly, can anyone tell me for certain/? what these numbers mean and if in fact it will work in my 64 f350 4 spd , my truck blew the 223 out of it the other day

hmmm i kinda thought it might b a 262 from the serial number im gonna have to go on that assumption i guess olol i pulled the other motor apart n found a few of the distributor teeth on the gear were snapped off , wondering what coulda possibly done that to them and if perhaps that may have had some effect on the end result of the engine being shot
does anyone have any idea on what the max rpm on the hiway should b with this truck with a 262 in it and 5.13:1 gears in the rear end? i was thinkin maybe 3000 or 55 mph , i dont wanna blow up this motor as it seems there tuff to find
