some one got a adres where to buy serpentine belts/ / dimension, ?

the pully,s wil be about 50 M/M wiht !
the belt wil fit for the orginal water neck [8 M/M play before belt is hitting the neck ]and the altenator wil do the tensener ????? [ adusting the belt for the right strengte ? ] and there wil be a time mark on the ballancer pully !

Gilmers make a great sound. For looks, out of ten, I rate this an 11 (because it is an easy install the way you designed it).

what is / are gilmers ???
btw next draw i got in mind is flywheelplate from aluminium with steel tooth for starter and magaan plate insert with bolts for clutch ! with multiple hole for attaching differend pressure plates !

so it wil be a 3 piece flywheel , alu wheel ,outside ring with tooth in kgw ore stainles steel , and clutch plate ring from magaan , bolt on ! so never have to milled the flywheel , just replace the magaan plate when cracks ore bad used !! and that al for a 6 banger !! 8)
wil make a autocad draw and wil pic it here later !

A gilmer belt is a cogged belt used to assure that a timing relationship between two shafts is/are maintained. Timing belts for OHC engines are gilmer type. The images you show are also gilmer type pulleys.

They are also used for applications where a significant amount of power is transmitted- like superchargers. If you look at old supercharger drive belt applications, they would use maybe 4 or 5 regular V- belts to transfer the drive power. These designs were eventually replaced by a gilmer type belt.

Gilmers can be run in a serpentine fashion, but common use of the sepentine belt description is for belts called poly-V. These belts are used on most newer cars, and consist of a number of small V shape grooves, as seen if you look down the length of the belt. Poly-V's and gilmers can run serpentine configuration, while single V belts must only run with the V section on the inside of the belt . If you try to serpentine a single V, it will most probably flip off the pulleys.

ok thx for the info i. :)
think i go for the gilmer belt , gone adjust my design , easyer to get a gilmer belt then a serpentine belt i think !
