HEY EVERYONE! I JUST SIGNED UP AND AM REALLY LOVING THIS SITE I HAVE AN XA FALCON FUTURA WIF A PRE CROSSFLOW 250, 3 ON THE TREE AND STD BORGY DIFF..... I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE 2V HEADS AND POSSIBLY HOW MUCH IM UP FOR IF I CAN FIND ONE, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

Well, start digging locally, and north/south of there. They're not so cheap anymore. Also if no joy beforehand, try the Gossie swap mid-year. Look in Parts peddler and watch ebay Oz.

The one that Mark mentioned was just near you, too.

Not sure if it sold or not. Ebay Oz has funny things relating to "archived" material like past sales, and you need to log in to access it.

Yella Terra make Roller Rockers to suit, but... they're $600+, and you need to change the lifters and pushrods to suit. This is due to the way they oil themselves. By the time you've dropped in a new cam (why not, eh? ), timing set ($115), lifters ($120), pushrods ($100), it starts to stack up.

yeh changing the lifters etc certainly isnt cheap, espesually when, if u r like me, cant change just one thing, may as well do it properly and do the lot! do acl or any other brands do new pistons, rings etc in oversize??

ive still had no luck in finding a 2v head

my panalbeater friend thinks he has one tho but is unsure and if only he could find out, he said i can have it for nothin just wish he would find out!

You can get a whole bunch of stuff to suit the motor from ACL - gaskets, bearings and some really nice piston/ring sets. Quite affordable, too. I'd suggest Ross for a new balancer/rebuild and Rollmaster for a timing set.

Tell your panelbeater to get "digging"! Wouldn't have two of them would he?

Hi Dave,

I have a 2V head I have advertised for sale - some dudes from the US are interested, but the freight is such a hassle, I would rather sell it in Oz.
