8) Has anyone used more than one nitrous nozzle to add goofy gas to their six? Or would using one nozzle and a carb spacer be the way to go? What size jet is best?
 
Personally, I don't like nitrous. Too many opportunities for loud, unpleasant noises followed by total silence.

The problem with giggle gas on an inline is the poor design of the stock intake manifolds. There's no way that a plate system is going to feed 1 and 6 at the same rate it feeds 3-4. This may or may not be a problem at 50 HP but it will be at higher levels.

Which engine are you looking at? On a carbed 300, a plate system should work with an Offy or Cliffy manifold. On an EFI engine, a spray bar could be put between the upper and lower manifolds. On a low revving 300, nitrous is going to create much more internal loading than on a normal engine, so you may want to reduce your shot size accordingly.

On the small 6, you ight be better off trying to fit a 6 nozzle fogger.
 
You would never get the plugs to read right with a plate system. Nozzles are the way to go. I never really liked nitrous till I tried it. I've had good luck with it. The motor was a proven combonation to start with. It all depends on how much you want to spend on it to make it a reliable system. That's where a lot of poeple get into trouble. They just find some part's at a swap meet. Throw it on the motor and have all sorts of problems. If you get a used system then try to know the history of how well it was taken care of.

8) I'm leaning towards the fogger nozzles with jets small enough to give us 50 to 75 hp boost. A huge boost is not the goal, just some easy passing power.
