How about this,

I hope it links....

Heres the link to read about it,

http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/P ... pShot.html

Looks adaptable to a Holley 2 Bbl. I would assume with the small 75 HP jets you would'nt have to run forged pistons....Just somthing I'm looking into

Maybe they could make some 50HP jets?? I think thats what Dan (Import Eater) is running for jets..

Doug,

When we were at SEMA I talked to the Holley guys and they said 75-100 jets would work just fine with our stock cast pistons. The ideal would be 75 and 100 would be a max, providing its only for occasional rice eating runs.

I've seen that NOS setup before, they call it top shot or something like that. It's kinda difficult to tell from that pic where does the mixture flows out of, I'm assuming that it can be used for a 2BBL since it probably only works on the secondaries when in use, but does it spray into both barrels????if not...would this be a problem ?????

Also the fact that that no one can tell it's there is what caught my attention in the first plce  BTW I found this article showing how to hide a NX system in Fireturd...some really cool ideas there :D

looks interesting to me. would like to hear more about it..

Well, Let's see Ted.....Judging from your sig;

Working on a
Dual Eaton M90 Supercharged
EFI 300
Full manual C4
2.79 geared 9"

It never ends!!

Mike,

I guess a 75 HP shot would'nt be too overly big. Ricers can do it why should'nt we be able too  I just thought that with all the junk on my motor it would'nt be hard to camoflauge the nitrous and fuel lines....

Alex,
I think the mixture just gets "squirted" in the airstream and gets mixed up like my water injection....I guess?? I just happened to notice it when I was ordering some parts from Summit last week and I thought it looked "cool"

Has anyone ever e-mailed Holley with any questions?? Do they answer or blow off the wierd stuff like this??

Darin,

I'll keep ya all updated as it progresses

Doug now that Ted mentioned it, how much CR are you running with the new head????

I've always heard the horror stories regarding nitrous, but mostly from people that don't use it!??! :? ...people that do use it say it's the best bang for the buck.... :? :? .....

Alex,

Right now only around 10.1 :( :( This winter (very soon!!) I'm hoping to find another steel shim headgasket and have another .040 or so shaved off this head. So I can get it back up in the neighborhood of the 11.1 I like to run :D :D

I've heard the "horror stories" also, but my favorite magazine is Car Craft and they seem to swear by the stuff.

Installed properly it seems to work allright. Biggest thing seems to be to make sure it won't run lean....Lean=torched piston!!

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I have been buisy helping my friend get his 87 Lincoln Mark7 ready to race in the "Southern super heavy shootout in Georga. He won the whole thing! I ran his daly driven stock 90 Lincoln ALL DAY LONG making super fast 16.80s@82mph! I had a blast. It was all people from an enternet board(www.FordvsChevy.com check it out) like this one from all over the country. I met a lot of cool people. We need to get all us Ford six guys together and do that. It would be great! Oh yea, about the nitrous. Go for it Doug! Don't be scared of it at all. Just do everything by the book, don't get crazy with it and you will have nothing but good luck with it. It is just unreal how good it works if you just do it right! I promis you 100% you WILL NOT be able to wipe that big smile off youe face the first time you hit that button! If you need ANY help with it just give me a shout.

Dan

Doug,

I am curious whatever happened with this I was watching it for a while then it went out....

Has anyone played with this aircleaner setup?

Curious....

I never did anything more to it as far as the nitrous goes....I got sidetracked by the new interior, deep sump oil pan, new ram air and a couple of other things instead of the nitrous

It should work fine in my opinion though!

Holley has a new plate system (not in there catalogs yet) that they were showing us at the SEMA show that works with 2V manifolds.
