normal operating temp for 250 crossflow??

Can anyone help - a mate has a 250 crossflow in his XM coupe and is having cooling problems - he has a 3 core rad but is still overheating, does anyone know the normal operating temperature - so we can go from there

What thermostat is he running? Mine runs well at about 80deg celcius... Is the timing correct and are the mixtures OK?

all mine have run at 90+ when racing they use to quite often be sitting on 100-105
drift

i use 72 deg thermostats in mine and have never had trouble,they sit on 1/4 on the temp gauge.
