Okay, I've dropped some hints...a few people have asked questions.
I have scrapped the Offenhauser project in favor of the Aussie 2V. I did this for many reasons, but the main one is long range drivability. I drive almost 50miles one way to work...and the Offy is just a little too hard on my legs for that (I think my right calf is so much bigger now). I want something a little easier.
I'm also changing because I want something with a little more ability for future power adders (read: Forced Air). I've already got most of the plans in the works...but it is likely to be next summer before anything happens. I need to do handling stuff this winter along with interior work (request of wife). So...hopefully...sometime soon I'll get the parts from Mike and I'll be off to the races so to speak.
The offy looked soo cool and boy did I get a big response from it...definitely the way to go for a crowd pleaser or local driving.
I'll give everyone a seat of the pant comparison of the two when it is all said and done.
