Hey, so I bought and installed an oil pressure gauge this weekend and I have a few questions about the oil pressure for the 250 2V. The workshop manual says it sould be 40psi at 2000 rpm, however my gauge shows higher. When I took it for a drive it was showing closer to 60 -80 psi when I was revving it up. (night not have been completely hot as its very cold here today). At Idle when hot it was bouncing a little around the 30 psi mark.
What should the psi generally be?
Can engine modification affect the psi level? to what extent?
Or is this a gauge and/or sender thing?
