:) Not having any experience with turbos, maybe this is not germain to the subject. But here goes.Found a dipstick tube that threads into a fitting on the oil pan.Could you cut the female part out of a junk oil pan and weld it into the pan on your engine where you want the return line, and connect the return line from the turbo to that?Would make it very easy to do an R&R
on the unit if necessary.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

I have just used half a -10 steel hydraulic fitting.

you can also buy steel weld bungs from speedwaymotors.com for pretty reasonable.

you could also weld half a pipe coupler there.

or weld on a stub of just tube and use a hose clamp on it....

just make sure it is large enough and has no low spots

I don't why it wouldn't work.
Just remember the oil leaving the turbo will be very hot you might want to insulate the return line so that the oil cools in the pan instead of in that tube. hot oil getting cooler can cause a lot of buildup i think.

What diameter is the dipstick fitting.
The oil return from a turbo must be fairly large or the backpressure will reduce flow and cook the turbo. If it's less that 5/8" ID don't use it.

:) Hi SR.Its the threaded fitting that holds the dipstick tube into the oil pan.The ID of the tube is probably 1/4".No where large enough.Well it was a thought.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
