Oil Sump

Ok, I'm up to considering a new oil sump for my 221 in the XP.

I contemplated modifying one I have with baffles and windage tray but as I have started a new job and renovating the house for the wife I don't have any time for fun stuff like fabricating parts for the car.

Does anyone know if the Classic inline sump will fit in an oz car? specifically an XP?

Otherwise I might have to find someone local to fab me one

Any ideas or suggestions will be a great help

try these guys in melbourne ( or one of their stockists around australia)

HE2010 144-250 XM-XB Ford 6 Super Pan $338.97*

some pics of their typical sumps(oil pans in usa..) there

why you need baffles and scrapers ? - you racing ? and suffering oil surge ?

suffer oil surge when even a litlle spirited driving around on the streets. that was with old engine so could have had other issues, but while everything is being rebuilt, may as well upgrade

the car will also be used for nostalgia drag racing so may as well buy a little insurance there as well

hey
high energy take ages like 8+ weeks to get one and you have to supply them with your sump. I have also been hearing bad things about them, but I got one from them about a year ago which seems to be good, mayb ring around a few other places aswell see how you go.

thatnks for the heads up

I,ve got no prob sending my sump as I have 3 of them sitting around doing nothin

I have heard good things about their products and they seem reasonably priced

8 weeks I should have my engine back any way
