On the road again

Finally have it running again. After giving up on the multi carb idea and shelving the Weber 2bbl project, I put the original head backon the block. One last glich that nearly caused me to donate it to charity. With less than 8k on the engine I put in years ago, I had a thrust bearing give up within a couple of hours of getting it back togather and running. With the help of a friend here and mostly his efforts, we put a crank kit in it weekend before last.

You did put the thrust in the correct location, right? It's common for people to put that bearing shell set in the wrong mains cap.

Fortunated the guy that helped me with disassembly and reassembly is a retired mechanic and he numbered and marked all the rod and bearing caps when we pulled it apart.
