I downloaded a demo copy of Engine Analyzer 3.0 and ran my current setup. I was severally disappointed but....oh ya....I simply added a small Garrett turbocharger and got these numbers! And that's just 6 PSI of boost!

Guess what I'm doing this summer!!!!!!!!!

Woooow  almost 250 HP!
Stock engine+turbo at 6PSI?

Do you know where you can download such a demo?

Tnx.

Wellll...I cheated a bit on the specifications. The only thing different than what I have now is a 350 CFM carburetor I added to the analyzer, other than that...stock - for a '77 200.

As far as those warnings. I think alot of it has to do with the "log". Like Jack said, "The log is a dog". It's just going to be too difficult to completely solve those issues without changing out heads. Especially the the A/F mixture. But that's just my opinion.

Any suggestions. Jack?

Hmmm...looking at those numbers. They seem alittle high. Jack, do you have the engine specifications saved when you ran your numbers? Would you send the saved profile?

Okay, reran the analyzer with my current setup plus a small turbo at 6 PSI. This looks more realistic.

I had the wrong intake and camshaft. Oops!

-Chris

the stock cam is real small, about 190 @ .050 with a .360 lift and the flow percentage figures are less than 40% on the exhaust side. Factor in a carb that flows about 120cfm @ 1.5" and you have real puny engine. It should pull about 100 horses at 4000 rpm.

One more thing - what should I use for "Intake System"? Right now I'm using Single Plane manifold with 220 CFM carb.

-Chris

Single plane is the only logical choice in the menu options, but 220 cfm is too much for the stock 1bbl. At 1.5" an 1100 only flows about 125 cfm. 220 would be more like a Holley 350.
