I thought I’d create a thread to look at options we have for 200’s and 250’s for 1.6 ratio rockers. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the stock ones on the small blocks are all 1.7 1.5 ratio according to what I’ve read. I think Yella Terra has 1.65 ratio rockers but I don’t know if there are any other options.

I understand that on the Big 6, people are using Chevy rockers. Are Yella Terra the only option we have for rockers?

EDITED: Thanks for the clarification on stock rocker ratio @drag-200stang and @bmbm40

The small six is suppose to be 1.5, AK Miller told me that they are closer to to 1.45. I have never checked them so I cannot say for fact.
''Rocker Arms Unlimited'' Did sell a 1.65 rocker assembly, that was like stock adjustable but with al. body and a roller tip and a bronze bushing in the rocker for the shaft. Not in catalogue, have to call them, not sure if still in business today. Call them.

Classic Inlines is done, as the owner Mike died. Matt of Vintage Inlines bought what was left. I do not see any 1.65 stock type one shaft roller rocker available. I could be wrong. The ones Mike had were Rocker Arm Specialist, they went under and restarted as ''Rocker Arm Unlimited'' which I think are nicer. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info about the stock and other options. I'll give the guys at Rocker Arm Unlimited a call and see what kind of advice they've got.

I'm going to be working with that 69 large log head I picked up recently and I'll be CC'ing the chambers and skimming it slightly to bump the compression up a little bit. It's got 1.75" intakes and I may update the 1.38" exhausts to 1.5" and clean up the ports so it would be great to have the 1.65 rockers to take advantage of the H-6474-0-B camshaft too. I'll machine the log to install the 2v carb adapter right on the log so I should be able to get a lot more breathing on my little hotrod 6.

Just a little follow up the Yella Terra street terra kit is pretty reasonable. It comes with new pushrods and lifters along with the requisite hardware to replace the rocker shaft assembly and clocks in at around $530 USD + tax & shipping. That's really pretty reasonable for a pretty set of 1.65 ratio roller rockers.
