Hi all,
I have a 1966 Bronco with the oil bath oil filter and 1bbl Carter Carb. I would like to ditch the oil bath and upgrade to a paper element. Are there any air cleaner bases from other makes that would work? Mustang or Maverick or aftermarket? I know my clearance is TIGHT not sure by how much. My only concern is possibly hitting the manual choke workings. I have to look again but I was going to cut an old cookie sheet drill an appropriate sized hole and find a thin air filter. By the way, anyone know the dimension of that hole? If it hits the workings I guess I could offset it towards the front of the motor.
Thanks,
Paul
