park lights intermitent problem

I have an XF ghia which when you switch on the park lamps the lights do not come on front or rear.
Have checked the fuses and bulbs etc.. and all seem ok.
After some driving they will swicth on on there own.

According to the wiring diagram in the workshop manual there is a separate park lamp relay.

Anyone know where this can be located as the ones in the engine bay seem to operate the healights, highbeams and spotlights?

I had a similar problem in my XE, I track it back to a bad earth, might not be the same in your case, just food for thought
