Petronix

Good point - it's always best to go with what is proven - especially if it is cheaper.

One of the advertising points for the Petronix box is that it continues to put out multiple sparks after 3000 rpm unlike other competitors...

Does MSD stop putting out multiple sparks at after a certain rpm? I couldn't find any literature about the MSD's function throughout the rpm range.

yes, it stops after 3000 RPM...mostly because I think they found it doesn't matter as much above 3000 RPM. What happens as the RPMs go up is your coil has less time to charge up. If you are doing multiple sparks, you are further cutting into the charge time, and your peak performance will go down.
